The club was started in 2006, after being a club member of SWARM ( South West Amateur Rocketry Membership), which has its launch site at Follygate, Near Okehampton Devon. for a few years, I decided to build a rocketry club near to where I live, (Barnstaple, North Devon), I was given permission by a local farmer, who owns Chaplelton Bart farm, where the The Steam Rally is held every year.

The club started with 6 members, though is down to two, but the club is open to anybody who is interested in building and flying rockets, this goes for family's and schools too.
